"Jorge, I would like to thank you very much for the outstanding service you provided on our recent trip aboard the Nemo. As you remember my bag containing all of my flies did not make the connection in Miami. You not only supplied me with some flies to use but you and your crew went to extraordinary lengths to retrieve my bag from Barcelos by boat so that I might have my flies for the second half of my trip..."

Brazil - DEMENI BOAT
PERFECT BOAT FOR SMALL GROUPS OF ANGLERS!!!!! ***MINIMUM 4***
So, get 3 of your fishing friends and have the DEMENI BOAT exclusively for yourself. No other boat operation can offer this service!!!
The DEMENI BOAT is a 55 foot luxury Hotel on the water that moves throughout the Amazon Basin depending on water levels and where the fishing is best.
The DEMENI is powered by a 360 hp diesel engine with a cruising speed of 12 knots. She has 30 KVA generators for power source.
Because of it's shallow draft, the DEMENI is able to sail up into the most remote tributaries where other large boats cannot reach. The benefit is to reach places that have not been fished.
She accommodates up to 8 anglers in spacious cabins with air conditioning, private showers, hot water and private bathrooms.
Aboard is plenty of help to service your every needs. There is a large ice machine, several freezers, a galley, plenty of food, soda, beer and water.
Relax with your ship mates at the bar which has a nice selection of beverages, beer and sodas.
You can also socialize in the TV Salon or atop the Solarium enjoying the uninterrupted view of the river and phenominal Amazon sunsets.
Meals are served in our onboard restaurant...
The chef prepares daily the most succulent blend of American and Brazilian cuisine.
In October, the boat begins its journey to the Rio Negro River to fish the Rio Preto, Jauaperi, Jufari, Caures, Unini, Demeni, Cuiuni and Araca rivers. And this period of time extends all the way through March, every year.
Mosquitos are not a problem since they cannot breed because of the tanic acid in the water. These regions posses the potential for breaking the IGFA record for Peacock Bass. The world record Peacock Bass over 29 lbs. was caught on the Rio Negro River.
"Ian (above) and Mega (2 photos below) are avid fishermen that live and breathe peacock bass fishing. They are Owners of the DEMENI BOAT.
They both live in the Amazon and are in touch with fishing conditions up and down the river.
Ian is also the IGFA Representative in Brazil, so catch that trophy peacock bass and let Ian certify the catch for you."
